The conventional warranty is a warranty optionally granted by the seller or by the manufacturer, which is added to the legal warranty, without being able to harm it in any way. It may provide for greater time coverage (beyond two years of the legal one) or it may provide for additional services for the consumer. This warranty is governed by art. 135-quinquies of the Consumer Code.
