Lounge, an innovative kitchen which extends our Essence range, is an enhanced interpretation of the concept
The key features in Lounge lie in the change of its proportions: the volumes are more generous thanks to the increased capacity of the base and column units (with a baseboard reduced in height to 8 cm); in addition, the new design concepts create a more contemporary and sophisticated look, with the use of striking and unusual materials: fine wood finishes with eye-catching details, lacquer finishes in polished, semi-matt or liquid metal finishes, Fenix® or decorative laminates, and now polished or semi-matt lacquered glass.
In addition to Scrigno, for which we have created this system of column units with doors which fold into the lateral panel so that they can be fitted with household appliances or used as an innovative form of pantry units, Lounge features the Maxi column units with full-height doors to create a clean, linear look.
The aperture system used for Lounge features a distinctive flat recess with a handle built into the top edge of the door (GO) or using the ShellSystem, the latest development of the "shell" structure, also with the Pro profile strip running along the edge of the door.

This complete kitchen composition centres on the island unit comprising all the main kitchen functions: food preparation, washing, and cooking.
The storage capacity of the kitchen is provided by the Maxi column units with full-height doors, which open to reveal a spacious larder as well as the refrigerator.
In order to make the fullest use of available space and practicality, a second sink unit is fitted inside the alcove which interrupts the vertical rhythm of the full-height Maxi column units. The alcove consists of rear panels in a choice of materials and finishes from the Veneta Cucine product range, with rear and perimeter trim in Bronze finished aluminium, which is also used for the recesses and the plinth.
The alcove can be fitted with support rails for the addition of shelves, hooks and lights which illuminate the kitchen effectively and enable you to arrange the various kitchen utensils and cooking ingredients as desired.One side of the island unit consists of a top in Boisè Oak which acts as a table, with the new Totem support in a matching finish at the end. The table section is completed by Babila Poltrona chairs. The other side of the island rests on a Living System base in a Semi-Matt Chamois lacquered finish which complements the part of the room used for relaxation and recreation.
The Stepsystem Reverse module inserted between the two full-height doors matches the living area to the left and is fitted with LED light bars recessed into the shelf to provide attractive and effective lighting.
The worktops fitted to the island unit and the alcove are in Caranto Quartz Libra.
