Credenza, designed by Michele De Lucchi, receives special mention at the 2017 German Design Award

Credenza from Veneta Cucine received “Special Mention” in the "Kitchen and Household" category of the 2017 German Design Award.

This is an important international accolade awarded by the German Design Council to products, designs and people who have contibuted in decisive and pioneering ways to the development and enhancement of global design and architecture.

The evolution of the Credenza model has strengthened the relationship between Veneta Cucine and Michele De Lucchi, who has conceived the idea of an informally-structured kitchen in which it is the individual who defines the way in which it is arranged and used.

Credenza began as a symbolic and evocative concept, but soon developed into an actual kitchen project in which the materials, functions and design melded perfectly together as an expression of the expertise and skill which right from the start formed a bond between the company and this eclectic designer.
